The Ridley Marina was purchased in 2002 by the Township of Ridley with the assistance of several federal, state and Delaware County grants. Shortly after, a Municipal Marina Authority was established to oversee the daily operations of the Marina. Since that time, many improvements have been made, such as security fencing, overall maintenance cleanup, restroom facilities, a sewage pump out station, a life jacket program and much more. The Marina Authority meets monthly at 4:30pm in Garling Hall (lower level), Ridley Township Municipal Building, 100 E. MacDade Boulevard, Folsom, PA. After securing state, federal and Delaware County grants, the Ridley Township Board of Commissioners awarded contracts for a total dock rehabilitation project at the Marina. The project consisted of removing and replacing the current dock system with new docks, installing a new ramp and adding several new enhancements such as a public fishing pier. Consider renting Water’s Edge Banquet Room located next to the Ridley Township Municipal Marina, 500 North Lane, Ridley Park, for your special occasion!
